Job Description
CrossBoundary is recruiting a full-time Employee Experience Specialist to join the People Team. The Employee Experience Specialist is responsible for creating and implementing programs and processes that support a positive employee experience from onboarding to offboarding. The Specialist will oversee the new hire onboarding process, manage employee contracts, benefits administration, facilitate cross-boarding for existing employees, and manage offboarding processes for transitioning employees.

What you will do
Your primary responsibilities would be:
- Contract management - Manage the contract and onboarding process, including:
- Sending contracts, responding to candidate queries, liaising with relevant teams to address non-People Team queries, and ensure timely completion of signed contracts
- Track consultancy contracts, ensuring timely issuance, renewal, and extensions as necessary
- New hire onboarding - Manage the onboarding process for every new hire, including:
- Initiate onboarding tasks in the HRIS system, ensuring relevant stakeholders such as hiring managers are aligned to onboard the new hire successfully
- Manage our onboarding buddy and mentorship program, including pair new hires with an onboarding buddy and a mentor based on their role and preferences
- Manage the Analyst & Associate Mentorship program and liaise with the Wall Street Prep team for required setups
- Benefits management - Enroll new hires in benefits plans, including:
- Support ongoing benefits administration, and ensure proper offboarding of exiting employees
- Handle benefits-related grievances and audits to ensure all employees are correctly enrolled
- Manage emergency situations to make sure team members are receiving best care under our plans
- Cross-boarding & Offboarding
- Facilitate cross-boarding for internal transitions by updating employee records and coordinating with relevant teams (Admin, IT, Finance, Hiring Manager)
- Collaborate with Senior Managers on offboarding processes and ensure smooth transitions
- Employee data management and documentation
- Maintain accurate employee HR files, ensuring up-to-date documentation in BambooHR
- Collaborate with stakeholders to update policies, benefits documents, and other key employee resources
- Respond to employee data requests (e.g.,headcount) by compiling accurate information from HRIS
- Prepare and provide official documents such as employment and visa letters
- Ongoing process improvement - Support ad hoc process improvement projects and provide ongoing assistance to the People Operations Senior Manager and Chief People Officer
Who You Are
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in People Operations/Human Resources
- Comfort with ambiguity; ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Excellent communication skills across diverse audiences & strong stakeholder management
- Experience working with a multinational firm with presence across Africa, MENA, and Latin America, with exposure to employment laws & regulations in these regions
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently & within a team, and manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS software systems (specifically BambooHR)
