Job Description
CrossBoundary is recruiting a Financial Advisory Intern for the El Salvador office. As an Intern, you will be working together with the Analysts and Associates in our team to support transaction advisory engagements and execute regional landscape assessments. Experience with research and presentation tools, as well as interest in investments in high-impact sectors will be regarded favorably.

- Preference for college students in their final semesters, however, career-switchers (those with no prior financial advisory or consulting experience) are also encouraged to apply.
- Self-starter who is passionate about creating lasting change in underserved markets
- Takes on new types of work, even without prior experience/direct supervision
- Willingness to work, travel, and live in a sometimes-challenging environment
- High tolerance for ambiguity and an ability to operate effectively in a changing context
- High attention to detail
- High school diploma and at least two years of undergraduate studies in a related field
- Strong analytical and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in English and Spanish
- Basic knowledge of accounting and corporate finance
- Preference is for college students in their final semesters. Prior experience in the financial industry is not necessary
Primary Responsibilities
- Support the preparation of presentations, database management, and stakeholder communications
- Support data collection and perform market research, competitive analysis, and other research as needed
- Analyze detailed corporate and financial information
- Assist in the preparation of financial models to illustrate forecasts, KPIs, and value of companies
- Collaborate with due diligence activities and ensure the collection, organization, and completeness of information requests
- Contribute to the preparation of transaction reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Attend business development and project meetings, and assist with the due registration of those interactions (i.e., note-taking, attendee list)
- Participate in the execution of landscape assessments and Investment Facilitation engagements
- Perform other related duties and assignments, as delegated
