Job Description 

CrossBoundary is recruiting a full-time Senior Associate to join the Investment Advisory team in Kyiv. You will work on impactful transactions in Ukraine, in addition to building CrossBoundary’s long-term presence in the region. You will conduct macroeconomic market assessments, provide investment transaction support, and support our donor and investor clients in unlocking capital that has a significant positive benefit for Ukraine. As Senior Associate, you will have significant project management responsibilities to ensure excellent deliverable creation and execution. 

We seek candidates with 3-6 years of experience working in management consulting, investment banking, or private equity.

Required qualifications 
Ideal candidate will have the following skills and qualifications: 

  • At least 3-6 years of relevant experience in a related finance or consulting field, including management consulting, investment banking, private equity, development finance, or impact investing 

  • Ability to manage the production of complex deliverables with excellence 

  • Bachelor’s degree required 

  • Excellent PowerPoint presentation skills 

  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences 

  • Fluency in spoken and written English is required 

  • Familiarity with principles of corporate valuation and finance is required  

  • Ability to build strong relationships with senior management of potential investors, companies, and donors 

  • Financial modelling skills preferred 

  • Strong writer with a clear, active, and direct writing style 

  • Experience in agriculture and renewable energy is a plus 

Primary Responsibilities 

  • Support and manage multiple projects/transactions/workstreams concurrently with various supporting staff configurations 

  • Draft analyses, which may include financial models, market assessments, investment memorandums, and pitch decks, as well as macroeconomic, regulatory, and operational assessments 

  • Manage relationships with existing and potential investors, clients, companies, and other stakeholders 

  • Assist with opportunity identification and evaluation 

  • Provide sector analysis of priority areas for investment 

  • Support investor identification and relationship building  

  • Assist and often lead a team in supporting complex transactions 

  • Mentor more junior team members 

  • Support with recruitment
